Minutes before I fall asleep
Fahd Burki
September 19 - November 12, 2020

Minutes before I fall asleep continues an exercise by Fahd Burki in the fundamentals of painting, composition and structure. The non-narrative works focus on the act of image making, using geometry and colour to question the boundaries of two-dimensionality. In this exhibition, the works build upon a set of paintings made in 2018 and transition from painting to sculpture in the form of reliefs.
